Luma Events (hk-event-import-for-luma plugin) — [hkeif_events] image fix
   ==========================================================================
Every event graphic imported from Luma on this site is a square (1:1)
social card with its title/time text set close to the top or bottom
   edge — e.g. wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Co-Working.png (text in the
bottom ~22%) and Salt-Cave-Halo-Therapy-Drop-In.jpg (text in the bottom
   ~35%). The plugin's own frontend.css forces a 16:9 landscape crop
   (.hkeif-card-image { aspect-ratio: 16/9 }) with object-fit: cover, which
center-crops roughly 44% of each image's height off — cutting the title
   text right off the card.

Fix: match the box's aspect-ratio to the images' real native shape (1:1)
so object-fit: cover has nothing left to crop. Kept in the theme instead
of editing the plugin file directly, so it survives plugin updates.

!important is required: this plugin enqueues its own stylesheet from
inside the [hkeif_events] shortcode callback rather than on the normal
wp_enqueue_scripts hook, so on this site its <link> tag actually prints
mid-<body> — after this override, which loads normally in <head> — and
without !important that later DOM position would win the cascade and
   silently undo this fix.

Parameters worth knowing if this ever needs tuning again:
     - .hkeif-card-image { aspect-ratio } → shape of the
       image box.
     - .hkeif-card-img { object-fit, object-position } → how the image
fills that box (cover = crop to fill, contain = letterbox/no crop).
     - .hkeif-layout-grid { --hkeif-cols } → column count,
       also settable per-shortcode via [hkeif_events columns="N"].
If a future event image is genuinely wide (16:9) rather than square, it
will "cover" a 1:1 box by cropping its left/right sides instead — still
far less destructive than losing top/bottom text, but worth a look if
   that starts happening often.
